In the summer of 1989, Steve asked me if I would drive him to Edinburgh for the weekend.  The problem was we were in Canterbury and my car probably wouldnt make the trip. “No worries” says Steve, “we’ll take the University minibus!!”

Only when we were passing Preston on the M6 did Steve tell me that no one knew we have borrowed the sports federation minibus, we didn’t have permission and we were probably not insured!!!  

After being stopped by the police just over the border, we made it to James’ flat on Easter Road and enjoyed a fun Saturday before driving back Sunday. 

We did some crazy things back then, and these are the stories and memories of Stevie P we will keep alive for the next generations
